‘Nurture fresh thinking for a healthy world’
Michelle Carrick and Bree Velluti are the Founders of Seed Harvest Spoon Education Foundation.
We met a couple of years ago at our children’s Catholic primary school. Along with some other dedicated people we set about creating a Community Garden that would provide an opportunity for our children to see where food comes from. The benefits to our community have been extensive – socially, spiritually, educationally and health-wise.
We share a similar vision and passion for natural environments, healthy soil, education, permaculture, and gardening. This combined with our knowledge and experience led to the development of Seed Harvest Spoon, where our goal is to ignite a passion in others to make a difference and to engage children in leading the way.
We are very excited about receiving our not-for-profit status with the launch of Seed Harvest Spoon Education Foundation. This will enable us to continue our work with communities, individuals, businesses and like-minded organisations to expand and grow our program reach.
Alongside you, together we can create a healthy lifestyle and environment for each of our communities, which will in time contribute to a healthy world.
Michelle & Bree.
